Come meet a remarkable young woman named Lydia who has started her own program: Connecting with Lydia. Lydia’s mother, Holli said this: “Lydia’s goal is to cater to the patient and the entire family, as they are also going through a stressful time. Any little thing that can help the family as a whole is the goal.” Lydia has been recognized by the City of Brewer and received a city coin and a certificate of recognition at a city council meeting. She just won the 2026 Brewer American Legion Humanitarian Award!

At Winterport Evergreen Farm, we are committed to helping our friends and neighbors in our community however we can. Lydia, her mom and dad all lived in Winterport- their roots run deep here, too! This project fills our hearts with much happiness; Christmas spirit is alive and well year round at the farm.
